Holly Jolly Cake Mix Cookies

Holly Jolly Cake Mix Cookies

These festive little treats are easy to make using a box of yellow cake mix and a few special holiday add-ins. Our family loves cake mix cookies. It’s inexpensive to whip up several batches of delicious cookies with very little effort. It’s best to use real butter when making these, so the cookies are crispy. Butter substitutes often have a lot of extra water, which causes the dough to fluff up with a more cake-like consistency.

These fun cookies would be great gifts for friends, coworkers, your children’s teachers, the mail carrier, Christmas Carolers… just about anyone you meet would be glad to get a few colorful Holly Jolly Cake Mix Cookies.

  1. Cake Mix Cookies are a staple in our house. Mainly because you can customize them, make them quickly, freeze them, and everyone loves them! Our two favorites are chocolate cake mix & Reese’s Pieces and strawberry cake mix w/chocolate chips. Yours look much more festive.
